I'm looking for a device concurrent connection number adjustment function through session management

L1 Bithead

Hello
I'm using PA-5050 now. I am looking for ways to prevent multiple users from accessing the equipment at the same time through session management.

I thought I could do it on the Device-session tab of the WebUI, but I don't think there are any related functions.

If you haven't found it, I'd appreciate it if you let me know which menu you can take action on and how to take action.

Thank you.

hi @MinSeob-KWON

Unfortunately the PA-5050 is End of Life so you won't be able to upgrade past PAN-OS 8.1 as this feature was introduced in PAN-OS 10.0

in Device > Setup > Management > Authentication Settings you can set a limit to the amount of admins that can be logged on simultaneously

as a workaround, and if the connections are flowing through the dataplane, you could set up a DoS protection rule to your management interface

if you set an aggregate limiting the resources to 2 concurrent sessions, this could be accomplished
