is this true if PA reboots and auto commit fails it will go to Maintenance mode automatically?

depends what makes the autocommit fail

 

if it fails because there is an error in the configuration, it will simply stop and wait for you to fix it

If it fails because a process is timing out or it is unable to reach a service otherwise, it will retry a few times and then it will reboot. If this whole process happens again after reboot, it will go into maintenance mode
