Logcard Interface shows unk/unk/down(disabled)

L2 Linker

Has anyone out there experienced this?

                  name             id speed/duplex/state                             mac address
                  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                  ethernet1/1 64 10000/full/up                                     58:49:3b:fb:72:40
                  ethernet1/2 65 10000/full/up                                     58:49:3b:fb:72:41
                  ethernet1/3 66 ukn/ukn/down(disabled)                    b4:0c:25:e0:40:42

We have installed a new Finistar SFP+ (FTLX8574D3BCL), which according to the documentation is compatible with PA-7050.

The IP assigned to the interface cannot be pinged.

What can I do to troubleshoot this phenomene?

Regards,

Jasper Freeman

Hi Jasper

it looks like the interface has been set as 'down' manually

make sure the link state is set to auto or up:
