miners throwing errors

L1 Bithead

In both cases below, Minemeld is running via hosted Autofocus App.

It appears that the ransomwaretracker miners are running into an error. All three are throwing a "[Errno bad handshake](-1, 'Unexpected EOF'). The source URLs appear to be functioning properly.

I also see the dshield miner appears to be having a problem with verifying the SSL certificate. The source URL also appears to be working properly here too.

Hi @jchitsaz,

MineMeld on Autofocus is fully supported by Palo Alto Networks TAC, have you already opened a case ?

The issue with dshield is that the www.dshield.org is currently not exposing the full cert chain and the intermediate CA certificate is currently not available in most of the standard cert stores (Ubuntu, Firefox, OS X, ...)

Ok.

For the ransomwareracker prototypes, I have noted that the AF-hosted MM app is still complaining of errors fetching the list. By contrast, a VM-hosted MM instance have no such errors. It appears that the prototypes are configured exactly the same.

Hi @jchitsaz,

have you tried opening a case to TAC about the ransomwaretracker problem ? MineMeld on AF is fully supported by Palo Alto Networks.

Thanks,

luigi

Yes indeed. It is in process.
