Non Functional data plane due to this firewall rebooted

L2 Linker

Hello Friends,

One of our customer is facing an issue with the data plane which is getting rebooted due to non functional data plane

I analyse TSF and found below two error

1) Backtrace execution for the restarted process stopped due to an error accessing memory. Possible memory corruption?

2) all_task_4 restarted unexpectedly however no known issue was identified.

Requesting you to please help me in isolating the issue

PA-Model:- 1410

Hi @ChandrashekharD ,

I've seen similar behavior in relation to bug ID PAN-242027 (Fixed an issue where the all-task process repeatedly restarted during memory allocation failures).

You can check the memory allocation in the TSF at the time of the problem.

Which PAN-OS are you currently running ?

This particular bug ID was fixed in PAN-OS versions 11.0.4 , 11.2.0 , 10.2.8 , 11.1.3 , 10.1.14 , 11.1.5, 11.0.7, 10.2.7-h6, 11.1.2-h4.

Please reach out to TAC to confirm if you're running into this exact same bug and confirm if either of the suggested PAN-OS versions is a valid fix for the behaviour you're experiencing.

Kind regards,
-Kim.
