Hi All,
Just saw three options (Validate Export and Reinstall) altogether under Device>Software (action tab)for PA 820 for PAN OS 10.2.0 . (I can see other versions also have the same 3 options)
(apologies for the blurry pic)
Wondering if this is normal or any action is needed as I do not see this on other FW-PA 440 as pictured.
Thank you in advance.

Hi @Pras ,
No action is needed. As per the device help pages:
These just indicate the current actions you can take for the corresponding software image as follows:
Validate—The corresponding software version is available on the Palo Alto Networks Update Server; click to Download an available software version and its software or content dependencies from the update server or an SCP server.
Install—The corresponding software version has been downloaded or uploaded to the firewall; click to Install the software. A reboot is required to complete the upgrade process.
Reinstall—The corresponding software version was installed previously; click to Reinstall the same version.
Kind regards,
-Kiwi.

Hi @Smith5N ,
I do not understand how this is relevant. I only want to know if having these three options (Validate, export and reinstall) under Device>software (under action tab) is ok.
