Hello everyone! I'm new to the Palo Alto Firewall and I've been reading the documentation on securing applications in Azure using Palo Alto's firewall here https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/resources/guides/azure-architecture-guide.
While going through the documentation, I noticed that it talks about achieving firewall resiliency in Azure using availability sets, but I'm curious if there is any specific guidance available that covers the regional high availability design approach while deploying the PA FW in two different regions. Specifically, I'm wondering how the FW would be deployed in two hub networks housed in two different Azure regions, and if there are any design patterns on deploying the FW in such a model.
Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks for your comment, and yes, that is accurate; however, I am keen about the route design considerations because you would end up with two distinct hub networks (one in each region, which is typically where you would house your VM-series PA boxes). What is your suggestion in this regard? Is it recommended to peer both hubs in order to build a model similar to global transit architecture in which your secondary PA FW only gets requests if the primary region fails?
