PAN-97757 GlobalProtect MFA with RADIUS quietly went away, can anybody confirm if it is fixed?

L1 Bithead

PAN-97757 was still an issue as recently as PAN-OS 10.1.9. Then 10.2.3-h4 and more recent releases did not mention it in known or addressed issues. Anybody know if this is fixed yet?

Hi @joshuahill9 ,

It doesn't seem like it's fixed.

Can you use one of the workarounds ?

--

Workaround:

Disable GlobalProtect authentication cookies. Alternatively, disable (clear) Retrieve user group from RADIUS

in the authentication profile and configure group mapping from Active Directory (AD) through LDAP.

--

If not, you might want to ping support to see where they stand on providing a fix.

Kind regards,

-Kiwi.
