PAN-OS 10.2.3 - HA1 PRTG bug - PA-220

L1 Bithead

Hi,

Since updating our firmware to 10.2 we have noticed that ha1 shows down in our monitoring tool but is showing as up on the device. Has anyone seen anything like this before? This is on multiple devices and has not effected the PA-800's.

Thanks

Luke

Hi @LukeRath ,

This is most likely because your monitoring system is monitoring the wrong OID for the HA interface.

You should easily be able to confirm this by performing snmpwalk to the firewall and check the OID for the HA interface and compare it with what your monitoring is using.

Fix this should be event easier - just re-discover the device in your monitoring system.

As you can see something similar have happened to others as well - https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/general-topics/upgraded-from-v9-to-v10-and-snmp-traffic-statist...
