Panorama/GP questions

L4 Transporter

- Being in different versions of Panorama (9.0.4) and PaloAlto (8.1.13), is it possible to deploy GlobalProtect clients? It does not work and I wanted to confirm this information

- Is it possible to publish the linux version in the global protect portal? In the panorama these versions appear but not in the nodes?

Hi @BigPalo ,

It's normal you don't see these on the firewalls.

The portals will only show Win32, Win64, and MACs versions for download.

You can download the linux versions from the customer support portal.

There is a feature request to have the Linux version listed as a download option from the portal.

Please reach out to your local SE to have your vote added to this FR.

FR ID: #11558 (Linux GP Agent in the list of downloads from the GP Portal page).

Hope this helps,

-Kiwi.

Just this query:

- Being in different versions of Panorama (9.0.4) and PaloAlto (8.1.13), is it possible to deploy GlobalProtect clients? It does not work and I wanted to confirm this information. Is that normal? why is not possible? is about differents versions?

Hello @BigPalo

Uploading/installing the GP software is working fine here (Panorama = 9.0.4, firewall node = 8.1.13).

Please share the error message.

What logs would show relevant info?
