PPPoE session failed to connect for user:xxxx on interface:ethernet1/1. Reason: Timeout, LCP down

L4 Transporter

PA 440 firewall with the wan interface in pope mode.

When the firewall is in standalone the ppoe negotiation works fine.

If configure the firewall in cluster active-passive, an issue with PPoE negotiation with this message:

 

'PPPoE session failed to connect for user:xxxx on interface:ethernet1/1. Reason: Timeout, LCP down

Guess I've never used a PPoE connection with an active/passive setup, but what happens if you set passive link state to shutdown instead of Auto?

checking the PPPoE config and all is fine but don’t work in HA active-passive config

When disabling the HA mode, the PPPoE connection works fine, and the ppoe session doesn’t fail.
