Running SSH commands

L0 Member

We have a used Palo alto PA-3050 and with a support of someone in this community have configured the management IP address and default gateway. We have used the web interface to configure DNS.

The device is running PANOS 9.1.15-h1 and we understand there is a 11.2 version.

The issue we are having is that we have a C++ agent that uses SSH to connect to devices to download the running configuration. This works with devices such as Cisco and Juniper but not the Palo Alto.

We have tried to update the software but from the web interface or command line it can't connect

Any support please on possible issues connecting using SSH and why we can't perform a software upgrade?

Hello @andrewk

thanks for post.

The highest PAN-OS version supported by PA-3050 is PAN-OS 9.1. Please refer to compatibility matrix: Compatibility Matrix. You will not be able to upgrade to PAN-OS 10.X and higher.

Regarding SSH issue, could you please share error message you are getting?

Kind Regards

Pavel
