Scheduled Log Export -user keeps defaulting to admin

L0 Member

OS - 11.1.2-h3

Setting up the scheduled log export for traffic via scp - initial connection test OK. So I know ports are open etc...

We enter the username of the user for the SCP server that is going to be used and the password. As soon as you click OK the username defaults back to admin. So the SCP transfer fails.

Any idea on how to fix this? Is it a bug?

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi @P.Burret ,

If you set the Protocol to SCP, you must click the button to test connectivity between the firewall and the SCP server. A pop-up window is displayed requiring you to enter the SCP server clear text Password and then Confirm Password.

If the test connection is OK it creates and uploads the test file named ssh-export-test.txt.

Did it ?

Do you mean you actually see the username revert back to 'admin' on your config screen as soon as you click OK on the configuration screen ?

Kind regards,

-Kim.
