Scheduled reports not working

L4 Transporter

Hey folks.

I have setup some scheduled, custom reports on one of my newer firewalls to email me daily - but the report attached to the email is coming out empty every day.

I know the custom report works - if I run it manually, it returns results and I can see them - but when it's run for the daily email, it's blank.

I've got *exactly* the same setup on another PA device and it works - the report comes out daily with the required information.

Anyone got any suggestions on where I should start looking? I'm a bit baffled.

Thanks

@darren_g,

Is there any difference in how you have the 'Log Export and Reporting' options configured on the old hardware and the new hardware? What PAN-OS release are you running on the new hardware?

@BPry

Ahhh, I think that's what I missed - the log exporting. I've added it in now, and I'll see how it goes - thanks.

As far as OS goes, 9-1-2.h2 on the working one, 8.1.10 on the non-working one - but the setup on the cluster running 9.1.2 is way older - I set this up years ago, which is why I've forgotten half of  it!

If this works tonight, I'll come back and mark the solution correct - thanks!

@BPry- this worked. I missed the log export setup somehow.

Thanks heaps!

I have the same issue on Panorama: The report attached to the email is empty while manually running it works fine. Logging & Reporting Setting looks normal to me. How exactly did you setup log export?
