Shared Gateway with multiple virtual routers

L0 Member

Hello,

I currently have my palo alto setup to use two VSYS ( VSYS1 AND VSYS2) each with its own virtual router.

I would like them to use the same interface for outgoing internet traffic which I though I could accomplish with "shared gateways"

My problem is:

The interface I select to use for the shared gateway configuration does not appear when trying to create a default route on my VSYS

Is shared gateway method only used in single virtual router configuration? or can I use on multi Virtual router?

Hi Riverj,

It worked for me in single-VR, I didnt find any reference where its configured in multi-vr environment.

Regards,

Hardik Shah

Thanks for the response Hardik

It looks like to get this working I will need a default route from vr2 pointing to next vr vr1.

i'm currently setting up my lab to mimic this setup to validate functionality
