I would like to know if it's possible to take a packet capture of the traffic generated for path and link monitoring? thanks

path monitoring can be packetcaptured if you're using dataplane interfaces (not the dedicated HA interfaces)
link monitoring is an internal process that monitors if an interface is 'up', this can not be packetcaptured
