3 years ago, we replaced Check Point firewalls with Palo Alto Networks.
Seems this was a huge mistake. We might have to go back …..

We have been looking to replace our existing ASA with either Palo Alto or CheckPoint. Have you had a bad experience with Palo Alto?

pretty old information in the document.
@matthew.cosgove we have been a PA customer for about 4 years and have been very satisfied. Also we are a former CP customer but have no regrets for switching to PA.

We just did a PoC last year between Checkpoint and PA. While the Checkpoint had quite a few really nice features, they were all features that we weren't looking for in our NGFW, and the Checkpoint admin interface was so kludgey that we opted for PA. We've been VERY happy with it.
