Hi All,
i am bit confuses how the fixed PAN-OS version information works
for example 11.1.10-h1 can PAN-293673.
Since PAN-293673 was already fixed in 11.1.6-h7 (which is lower than 11.1.10-h1), does that mean a higher version automatically includes fixes for known issues from lower versions, right?
If so, that’s what confuses me: if PAN-293673 was fixed in 11.1.6-h7, why does it appear again as a known issue in 11.1.10 and only get fixed in 11.1.10-h4? This is confusing to me.
can anyone help explain this ?
Thank you

Hi @Fariq_Zaidi ,
It depends on the release date.
PAN-OS 11.1.6-h7 was released on July 28, 2025.
PAN-OS 11.1.10-h1 was released on June 30, 2025 so it could not contain fixes from PAN-OS 11.1.6-h7 which was released later.
PAN-OS 11.1.10-h4 was released on September 4, 2025 so it can contain fixes that were also added to 11.1.6-h7.
I hope this clarifies things.
Kind regards,
-Kim.
