Unable to boot PA-200

L3 Networker

Hello,

wondering if anyone is able to assit how to fix this issue. I am unable to boot PA-200 into normal operation.

Nothng is happenig after reload; it sits on console and not turning on a login prompt.

 

Appreciate your asisstance.

At this point I would contact support to assist you with clearing up space. Could be a failed drive?

Hi, Kalemegdan,

 

it is not a failed drive, just call in TAC to help you clean the space. You can't do it on your own (unless you go to maintenance mode and drop your logs, and even if you do - dropped willl be not the ones you should clean in the first place)

 

after TAC assistance, upgrade device to 6.1 or 6.0.10 where this has been fixed, I believe, but TAC will tell you for sure and you can't do it properly without them anyways.

I know the 200's can take a while to boot up, I would say wait at least 15-30 minutes (but shouldnt take that long). If you dont need the config, you can try a factory reset https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/Articles/How-to-Factory-Reset-a-Palo-Alto-Networks-Device/ta-p/...

It should not take that long. i tryied factory reset but still no luck. Keep getting error "No space left on device"
