We have PAN user ID agent version 4.1.8 -2 installed in our server .
The service is getting stopped automatically . When try to stop the process from services.msc in Windows server it gives the error that service is still running .
Need to stop the service manually via "Stop the process Tree " and again start the service.
Issue is occurring everyday . Please advise.
Are there any entries in the windows server event log for these time periods?
I had the same problem last year.We installed the agent on a new virtual PC not to waste time
with that new installation to another system , it worked. There was something wrong with the OS but we could not find.
Yes Its not expired.
Thanks all for your advise .
We have resolved the issue . The problem with the windows server where we have installed the Agent .
Due to some memory cache issue on the VM service got stop and not able to restart the service again.
It seems everything is working fine. Update you the real casue into the server
Have you done the install through a remote session ?
Had same issue couple of month ago in this case. a connected directly to the server or be sure to be connected in /cosole mode.
After the discussion with server support team , found that the issue is with Server DMI controller and because of that issue , User ID agent got stop and not able t restart again itself.
Issue has been resolved and thanks all for your support.
