User ID agent showing access denied after microsoft update on the DC and I nothing I have tried has fixed it

Hi @janelle.provine ,

 

Are you using agentless User-ID?  If so, you may be running into this issue -> https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/general-topics/user-identification-and-winrm-on-http/m-p/481674.  Please also note the edits I added later.

@Tom No we are using the agent

But even with the agent it does not work is there a fix? Do you have to roll back the patch or do the reg hack does that really work?

Hi @janelle.provine ,

 

I do not know of the same issue with the agent.  To verify, I would look in the Windows Event Viewer security logs and see if there is an authentication error for you AD account you use with the agent.
