Hello,
Here are some questions about VPN SSL Linux support :
- When do you plan to provide a Linux SSL client ?
- It would be great to not need the root privilege to be able to download and/or upgrade the VPN client.
Thanks :smileycool:

In addition to a Linux SSLVPN client, (or an alternative) would be to support extended authentication (mode-cfg). Adds flexibility and the ability for Linux users to connect

Any more news on this?
More and more customers asking for this and getting impatient.
Also we have more and more customers asking for an android client.

Please check with your SE as the discussion forum is not the best place for specifics about the features roadmap.

There is workaround - not SSL VPN, but IPsec to GP.
It is possible to establish VPN IPsec to GP from Linux. We have used Ubuntu with vpnc (and additionaly GUI network-manager-vpnc).
From Linux side you should use "Compatible with Cisco VPN" option.
Form GP side (soft ver 4.1.6):
GlobalProtect-> Gateway -> General
Tunnel Mode -> Enable IPsec option on and Enable X-auth option on -> Group Name and password
Skip Auth on IKE Rekey option on
GlobalProtect - >Portal -> Client conf -> General
Third party vpn client -> add cisco systems vpn adapter
