Got an external user (so connecting from his own PC and not a company one) that tried to install GP downloaded from our portal today, but every time he tries to start the MSI files it just opens the Microsoft Store.
I have no clue on how to avoid that and just have him install the normal GP app.
He's the only one with that issue with that portal/installer (5.2.8-23) he's not running Windows in S mode or anything like that just a normal Windows 10 Home copy, other apps install fine. The same installer copied on another PC works properly.
Any idea on what I could try?

Never found the cause for that but in the Microsoft store page that popped up there was a small link in the bottom "proceed outside microsoft store" that started the actual installer.
Why only that one user had that happening will remain a mistery.

The only thing that I can think of is if the .msi file extension default application was modified from the Windows installer. By default, if this was modified it would prompt to change it to the 'Look for an app in the Microsoft Store' option, so it could have been modified to do that.
