When GlobalProtect times out and disconnects user from VPN after exceeding the end of the "Login Lifetime" setting. (15 hours in my case) You cannot run the application to restart a new session. You have to go to the Task Manager, kill the GlobalProtect task and then you can go and run GlobalProtect to login and start a new session.

Hi @jefferyshall ,
I've seen this behavior with older GP versions, where the end of the "Login Lifetime" session isn't handled cleanly by the client application. The client becomes unresponsive, requiring you to manually kill the process to re-establish a connection.
The instances where I've seen it were often resolved by upgrading to a recommended GP version.
Alternatively, do you possibly have a an authentication override cookie lifetime that is higher than the tunnel login lifetime timer and are possibly running into this issue ? :
