Per-user exception to pre-defined URL filtering categories

Good morning!

I have a customer with a URL filtering profile blocking several pre-defined categories. A researcher needs to find information that's being blocked on that URL filter. We'd like to open access to websites only for that user. Is there a way to do that easily?

Hi @ghughes ,

You can create a separate security policy rule for the user allowing web-browsing and/or ssl to the destination URL.  Since you are only allowing traffic to one URL, you do not need to put the URL filtering security profile on that rule.
