XML API not working

I am facing an issue with the Palo Alto API where I am unable to exclude 'policy-and-objects' and 'shared-object' in partial changes. When I try to use the following XML structure in my API request:

https://firewall/api?type=op&cmd=<show><config><list><changes><partial><policy-and-objects>excluded</policy-and-objects><shared-object>excluded</shared-object></partial></changes></list></config></show>

I do not get the expected response. Instead, I receive an error - "<![CDATA[ show -> config -> list is unexpected ]]>" . Can anyone help me understand what might be causing this issue and how I can resolve it? Also, please suggest if any alternative API command is available to fetch the data.

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi @Sivaramakrishnan_Ramachandran ,

You can find the xpath values by going to https://<device-ip-address>/api.

Here is a link to Load a Partial Configuration into Another Configuration Using Xpath Values
