Hi team,

Planning to migrate the Prisma Access configuration from the Panorama Cloud Service Plugin to SCM. Is there any migration tool available for this, or how should we approach this migration for a customer moving to SCM?

regards,

Akash Thangavel

@AkashThangavel , I understand you are planning to migrate the Prisma Access configuration from the Panorama Cloud Service Plugin to SCM. The process and workflow involves are now very much easier than before. Palo Alto Networks introduces an in-product workflow to help you migrate your existing Prisma Access configuration to Strata Cloud Manager. Palo Alto Networks disables this migration workflow by default but, when you're ready to migrate to cloud management, you can contact your account team to enable this feature and begin your migration. Inside the document below, you will find the workflow (prerequisite and and procedures) required to complete the migration: https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/prisma-access/administration/prisma-access-overview/migrate-prisma...

I hope you find that helpful.

Thank you,

Hi @Vickynet ,

Thank you for your response.

However, the prerequisites outlined in this document do not align with our requirements, as we are managing multiple tenants for Prisma Access.

I believe this solution will not fulfill our needs. If multiple tenants are involved, could you suggest an alternative approach for migration?

@AkashThangavel , Yes, that is absolutely correct. If you are running a Multitenant deployment today in your environment, migration of such environment from Panorama to Strata Cloud Manager (SCM) is not supported today. I believe Palo Alto team may likely have something in the pipeline to support this deployment in the future. I would recommend bringing this up with your PaloAlto Account representative team so they can share with you the timeline when this will be supported.
