It's recommended to hold off on 2.0 plugin upgrade until the entire environment DP upgrade is complete. Once DP upgrade is confirmed complete, plugin upgrade should be done within 15days.

What will the user's experience be using the upgrade? Will the gateways/portal not be available at the time of the ugprade?

@Sodethman1The gateways/portal that users are connected to will not be affected during the upgrade itself, but after the upgrade is completed, the users will experience a brief disruption as their client establishes a new connection to the upgraded gateways.
