I would like to request a review of a possible false positive detection for our software.

Our product is a legitimate commercial game add-on / companion application for Dota 2 and Deadlock.

The software is distributed only through our official website and is intended for use by our users as a game-related add-on. It does not contain ransomware, stealers, backdoors, miners, trojans, or any functionality intended to harm the user’s system.

The application may include game-specific functionality such as interaction with the game client, overlay/game integration, protection/anti-tampering logic, updater components, and other mechanisms commonly used in game-related software. We understand that this behavior may look suspicious to some security engines, but the file is part of our legitimate product and is not designed to perform malicious activity.

Could you please re-analyze the submitted sample and update the detection if it is confirmed to be a false positive?

If your classification policy considers this type of software as PUA / Riskware / Game Tool, please consider adjusting the verdict to avoid classifying it as malware, trojan, stealer, or generic malicious software.
