Hi,
The Installation instructions for the User-ID Agent software remind you to ensure you've downloaded the correct version of the software (32 or 64-bit).
However I can't find the 64 bit version of 8.1.10 anywhere, only of the Credential Agent. Anyone know where it is??
I've tried installing the 32-bit version to Windows Server 2016 instead but the service won't start.
Thanks

Hi @Stephen_Elliott ,
As you pointed out there is no specific 64-bit version of 8.1.10 UID Agent (or any other version for that matter). Only the Credential Agent has a 64-bit version as you also mentioned.
The 32-bit version should install fine though.
Cheers,
-Kiwi.

Hey there @Stephen_Elliott ,
I don't know where you got the 32 bit version, but all of the versions available for download are on the support site here:
https://support.paloaltonetworks.com/
Inside that page, go to Updates > Software Updates then on the right, select "User Identification Agent" and then the rest of it should populate like in this screenshot.
Scroll down and you should see the 8.1.11 or 8.1.12 64-bit versions.. UaCredInstall64-8.1.11-2.msi or UaCredInstall64-8.1.12-2.msi respectively.
Don't forget that we have all of our software on that page available for download.
I sure hope this helps. (if so, please select this as resolved!)

Thanks Kiwi,
The 32-bit version did install but the service wouldn't run. I'm migrating from an old to new server so was trying to move the xml config file. However the 32-bit version service would run with a blank config, so I've rebuilt the configuration on the new server and it seems OK.
It's just a bit misleading that the UIA installation instructions tell you to ensure you have the correct 32 or 64-bit version.
Also a gotcha for anyone else reading - don't forget to migrate your 'exclude' users text file if you have. If you were daft enough to do that it really screws things up. <ahem>
Cheers.
