Hi @Rajendranahak ,
I'd recommend to change the password before it expires.
Admin credentials expired and unable to login and reset the password
Cheers,

Hi Team,
Thanks for response but still is there any other solution for this. In rear case NGFW admin forget to change password after getting notification.

@RajendranahakI think you have configured password profile where expiration for the local user is set. You can modify it as per your requirement.
Hope it helps!

Hi Mayur,
I want to get an pup-up of password reset or is there any way to reset administrator password after user lockout/expired. We have only one admin i.e
Username- admin
password- xxxxxxxx

Hi @Rajendranahak ,
I'm afraid that's bad luck for you.
If you let the only admin account expire then I'm afraid the only option is to factory reset the device to set a new one.
If you have panorama managing your FW you can push a new admin, else your only recourse is factory I'm afraid.
I'd reach out to support to get confirmation on this or try this maybe:
Admin credentials expired and unable to login and reset the password
Good luck,
-Kiwi.

One option is not to use the Password profile with admin account as mentioned in earlier posts.
We have admin account on our firewalls and we did not associate password profile with admin account and we never get any
warning signs.
