after upgrading to PAN-OS 9.0.x issue with CP

L4 Transporter

Recently configured the captive portal on the firewall but this feature does not seem to be functional despite the fact the configuration is correct. Note that the portal was working PAN-OS 8.1.3 but after upgrading to PAN-OS 9.0.9 it stopped.

Note able to ping the trust interface of the firewall (on which the CP is enabled) and resolve the URL assigned in the configuration for the trust interface, but can't telnet to port 6082 (https://abcdefg,com:6082) from the host wanting to authenticate to the portal to access Internet.

Hi @Mohammed_Yasin ,

Were you able to resolve the issue ?

That said, there's quite a bit of debugging/troubleshooting you can do for captive portal issues:
