Configure MAC based Security rule for SSL VPN User

L3 Networker

Hi Team,

Is it possible to create a security rule based on Source MAC Address instead of Source IP Address?
My requirement is, I want to create a rule for our SSL VPN users which is having our Company owned devices only connecting to our network.
Do you have any other ideas to achieve the above requirements?

Awaiting for your inputs !!

Best Regards,
Sahul Hameed

Hi @SahulH ,

MAC address filtering isn't currently possible.  You might want to check with your local SE.  There are several feature requests out for this and you might want to have your vote added to them.

As for an alternative, check out HIP.  Using HIP correctly ensures that the remote hosts accessing your resources are adequately maintained and adhere with the security standards before they are allowed access to your network resources.

Hope this helps !
