device template stack values staying in overide mode, shared template values not passing through on template stack

L2 Linker

hello,

anyone ever have this following issue.

on some of our template stacks the shared template values are not passing through to the template stack.

in the template stack some values come through from the device template but the shared template (which is delow in order the device template stack) values do not come through but only on some fields, other fields value do come through.  we have deleted any values in the stack, comitt, push, reset vlaues in the device template ...still no avail.  other stacks using the same shared template are working okay.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @miguelMA ,

I've seen scenarios where template stack settings were not pushed to the firewalls because the template stack was set to multi-vsys mode.

Could you possibly be running into this issue ?

Please check the following KB if that's the case: https://knowledgebase.paloaltonetworks.com/KCSArticleDetail?id=kA10g000000PLkcCAG

Best,

Hey kiwi,

with a joy of finally a solution/something to try! (it's been over a week and nothing from palo support).

Alas all the template and device are set to single vsys mode.

😞

but thanks for the hope!
