Hello
We have a Firewall PaloAlto with free space 509MB in partition /dev/md2, and 609MB in partition dev/md5, actually we need to upgrade the PanOS since 7.1.18 to 8.1.12, and there are 5 PANOS to upgrade, so the information is keep in /dev/md5 but before the installation We would like to know if the /dev/md2 root partition has little free space there could cause some trouble with the installation the new actualization?
admin@(active)> show system disk-space
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/md2 3.8G 3.1G 509M 87% /
/dev/md5 7.6G 6.6G 609M 92% /opt/pancfg
/dev/md6 3.8G 2.2G 1.5G 60% /opt/panrepo
tmpfs 2.0G 116M 1.9G 6% /dev/shm
cgroup_root 2.0G 0 2.0G 0% /cgroup
/dev/md8 88G 63G 21G 76% /opt/panlogs
It is important know an other point of view before to install the actualization and prevent some crash or issue in the system.
And the correct proccess to install each upgrade.
