How PA transceiver warranty?

L2 Linker

Hi All,

I have a question about paloaltonetworks transceiver warranty.

If I order some transceivers e.g.  PAN-SFP-PLUS-LR or PAN-SFP-PLUS-SR from paloaltonetworks , how the warranty about those transceivers? The same warranty  with hardware FW platform ? or anothers ?

Thanks.

Hi @JoyLiu0331,

I'm not sure how warranty works for transceivers.

I'd recommend reaching out to your sales representative to get a definitive answer on that.

Ours were tied to the support contract on the device we purchased the transcievers for.  As long as we keep support current the optics were also covered.

This is from several years ago, so you should verify with your current sales team.

Hello Pulukas,

Thank you for your feedbacks.

Per you know, Is there any docs or links that to explain about transcievers  warranty works?

I just want to verify that if any docs to explain it or only can be confirmed from sales teams ?

Thanks.

Joy Liu

I also don't see any official public documents with the optic warranty information.  You are going to need to get that from your account team to verify what the coverage is.
