How to change settings in default rules.

L2 Linker

Hi Guys,

I see two rules from 6.1 which are Interzone deny and Intrazone allow. Do we log those rules ?

If yes is there a way to change settings those are always greyed out.

Pre 7.0: You need to create identical rules in your security policy list and set them up how you like them; they will then hit that rule and process as you have requested.

Post 7.0: Click on the rule and select 'Override' towards the bottom of the page and you can setup whatever action and logging that you want; however you will still be unable to change anything else on these rules, just the action and logging options.

what is deafult action on log. Do they log by default.

Default action in the default rules is not to log.

You can easily verify this by using the override function... this allows you to enable the log options that are not checked by default.
