PA 220 ALM Red light

L2 Linker

Hi Guys,

I'm a newbie on PA still studying. I got a question, we are seeing a red light on ALM on our PA 220.

I did some research and it was about threat and application updates. I did check our licenses and expiration is on DEC 2023.

As per our Local IT the network is stable.

Hi there,

From the docs:

seb_rupik_0-1687768675364.png

(Interpret the LEDs on a PA-220 Firewall (paloaltonetworks.com))

...I would check the Monitor -> System logs. Also from the CLI try the command:

show system environmentals

cheers,

Seb.

Hi @weezy ,

Also mentioned in your previous post.  The ALM led is an indication of a hardware component failure:

https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/hardware/pa-220-hardware-reference/service-the-pa-220-firewall-har...

I'd suggest reaching out to TAC to see if an RMA is needed.

Kind regards,

-Kim.
