We have bought a used Palo Alto PA3050 for development purposes and did not know the password.
We have done a factory reset but the credentials of username admin and password admin, do not work.
When we boot into maintenance mode, we cannot set the IP address and the screens say to contact Palo Alto.
Any help please to reset the password so we can logon and configure the device will be grateful

Hi @andrewk ,
Factory reset should do the trick. Make sure to wait long enough for the correct prompt to appear (Default username and password of Admin-Admin Does Not Work After Factory Reset ) :
An example on the PA-3050 is shown below.
When the prompt displayed is #3, then the device is ready to accept the default username/password to allow login.
Is it possible to enter "maint" from console? If so, is it possible to do factory reset using other versions?
Kind regards,
-Kim.
