Response page in active-active mode

L0 Member

Hello,

Would anybody knows how to have a response page for Captive Portal redirect mode, in

active-active mode (PAN v4.0.4) ?

For example, through a loopback floating IP ?

Thanks

Christophe

Captive portal will work with the redirect IP as the floating IP address.

In PAN OS 7.1, is having a floating IP on the inside interface still the best way to configure the Captive Portal redirect page (in Active/Active HA)?

If this is the best way to go in an active-active setup, will enabling Response Pages on Interface Management profile that has been assigned to the actual interface (in our case aggregate sub-interface e.g. ae1.200) will suffice?

yes, you should enable reponse pages on the interface as this is required to spawn the CaptivePortal page upon authentication requirement

a floating or shared IP is needed to provide the portal page with a 'socket' to which clients can connect
