Is there a way to manually restart daemons and services in the CLI?
I have a box with sslvpn configured. The sslvpn suddenly stopped working and the portal page doesn't load. I double checked the config and the traffic logs show the traffic as being allowed and no threat/url logs being matched. I would like to try restarting just the services before restarting the box.

Hi Dorsey,
As it is related to SSL VPN, you can try restarting the below services:
debug software restart sslmgr
debug software restart sslvpn-web-server
debug software restart management-server

Hi,
Yes, you can use following command " debug software restart <process>" to restart specific process.

If it was working before then was something changed from certificate point of view?
You can check if the certificate that you are referencing for portal page is still valid or not.
Also check of the portal login page is enabled as below link
How to Disable the GlobalProtect Portal Login Page
Thanks,

Thank you.
The processing restarting did not fix the issue. The portal page is enabled. There were no firewall config changes.
On Tuesday, everything was working as expected. On Wednesday, the client reported vpn clients could not connect. No config changes were made in this window. I will try restarting the box to see if it has any effect.

Hi Dorsey,
Sure. You can try re-starting the box and if that does not help, attach the PAN-GPS logs from the client for analaysis.

After applying 6.1.3 and rebooting, this issue was resolved. Was on 6.1.0.

What made you decide to apply 6.1.3?
