Did a resolution ever get implemented?

@LCMember1607 The validate option will show Shadowed rules properly.

You can also identify any shadowed rules in AIOps;

"Policy Analyzer in AIOps for next-generation firewalls (NGFW) and Strata Cloud Manager enables you to optimize time and resources when implementing a change request. Policy Analyzer not only analyzes and provides suggestions for possible consolidation or removal of specific rules to meet your intended Security posture but it also checks for anomalies, such as shadows, redundancies, generalizations, correlations, and consolidations in your rulebase."

Here is the link to the tech doc for your reference - https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/ngfw/aiops/security-posture/policy-analyzer-overview
