Two GP users have a client that is looping fast (prior to connecting)

L1 Bithead

Hello all,

We have two users across the pond that have an issue with their client attempting to start and then repeatedly starting multiple instances (task bar will show several GP icons as they come and go).

We did a deep-clean, reinstalled fresh, different versions - same behavior continues.  We have over 500 clients connected without issues and these two are in a region outside the US.  It started with one and the the other the following day.

This appears to be related to some kind of update, but the systems have been checked and no special updates show up that are unique to these two systems.

Curious if any others have seen GP client do this before - the only way to gain system control is to disable the service.

Thanks!

Hi @jhwarren ,

What's the GP version ? What's the OS they're running on ?

Cheers,

Kiwi.

Deep cleans/reinstalls/different versions -nothing made this go away.  A system re-image on both systems cleared the issue up.  Suspect user-profile was corrupted and caused the issue.
