*Urgent* TCP out of order.

L3 Networker

Hi team,

My customer is facing the TCP out of order in pcaps while accessing SMB application.

He implemented the Zone protection in LAN zone which has Asymmetric path set as global, I changed it to bypass...

Will this resolve the issue...?? why TCP out of order is happening..??

.

Thanks & Regards,

@sahithyan.subbu you're going to need to do some good oldfashioned troubleshooting to find out why

asking the community will not get you to the cause of this

you should start setting up packet captures along the route your packets take and figure out where exactly they are getting scrambled

is fragmentation a factor, is there latency, are there different routes being taken, are there aggregates/bonds/trunks where there could be a faulty uplink, could you use jumbo frames, is there a speed and duplex mismatch on a set of interfaces, ...

Hello Sahithyan,

I'm having the same problem currently with one of my customers; just wanted to check if you implemented any resolution and managed to get the traffic up and going again.

Appreciate your feedback.

Stay safe,

Ali
