url filtering vs advanced url filtering license ?

L2 Linker

Dear All,

What is the difference between url filtering vs advanced url filtering? is Wildcard FQDN (like *.microsoft.com is supported in an Advanced URL Filtering license? does Advanced URL Filtering include everything you get with normal URL filtering?

Thank you

Hi @mohammedsalhis ,

The difference between URL and A-URL Filtering is listed here -> https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/apps/pan/public/downloadResource?pagePath=/content/pan/en_US/resour...  Scroll down to the table on page 3.

Wildcard FQDN filtering is supported in both licenses.  It is also supported without a license.

Advanced URL Filtering does include everything in URL Filtering.  URL Filtering is not for sale anymore.

Thanks,

Tom
