High Availability Preemptive

 

 

After recovering from failover the higher priority firewall will resume to be the active or active-primary unit if this option is enabled. In environments that need minimal failover events or needing root cause analysis etc then preemptive feature needs to be disabled. In environments that need primary device as active device then preemptive should be enabled. This check here is to ensure and remind if the right setting is made per the business requirement on each firewall implementation.
