Zone Protection - Flood Protection - Interpreting BPA Checks - Network

This video covers the importance of Zone Protection/Flood Protection and explains why not to use the predefined threshold values. We also provide solutions on how to set your thresholds.

A Zone Protection Profile with flood protection defends an entire ingress zone against SYN, ICMP, ICMPv6, UDP, and other IP flood attacks. The Flood Protection best practice check ensures that all flood protection settings are enabled and the default threshold values have been edited so they are appropriate for the zone.
