Automatically adding the endpoints to groups or tags

Is there a way where we can automatically assign an endpoint when its added to XDR based on its name into a specific group or tag

Hi NivedaR,

You can use dynamic endpoint groups to automatically populate your endpoint group based on properties of the endpoint like hostname.  Go to Endpoints -> Endpoint Groups, Add Group then you can use the filter parameters to specify what endpoints should be included.

Unfortunately, you cannot automatically assign Tags from the XDR console.  You can specify tags when installing the agent, via the cytool utility, or by manually selecting endpoints in the XDR console under Endpoints -> All Endpoints, check the boxes for the endpoints you want to tag and right-click, Endpoint Control -> Assign Endpoint Tags.
