All
Thanks in advance for help
We have Cortex in Report/Audit mode and Symantec Endpoint protect in block mode . We want to enable Cortex for Block mode and either disable or uninstall Symantec .
Has anybody have got any advice or experience with this ?
Symantec has a cleanwipe tool however its a GUI and does not have command line options so cannot be used with SCCM
So looking to find a way to disable or uninstall Symantec so that it does not interfere with Cortex .
Symantec version is 14.3.4615.2000 and Cortex is the latest version .
Thanks again

Hi @Balaraju,
Thank you for writing to Live Community. I suggest consulting this page to understand Cortex XDR and traps compatibility with third-party security products.
Looking at the list I see no compatibility issues between Symantec and XDR for windows (while there are limitations for MAC and Linux).
Was also able to find this article online about how to uninstall Symantec, but I highly suggest asking advice from on of their specialists about how to properly uninstall the software.
Hope this helps!

Hi @Balaraju
I 100% subscribe to what @mavraham wrote you. And I would also like to inform you that we can not recommend or guide on how to uninstall/install the products of other vendors. I would recommend that you contact in this symantec engineers to help on the uninstall of symantec.
KR and I hope this helps
