DECRYPTION OF FASP APPLICATION AND 443 TRAFFIC

L3 Networker

Dear Team,

want to confirm whether we can decrypt FASP application or not ? , or can we do decryption for other than 443 traffic ?
Please confirm whether we can decrypt non-443 traffic ?

Regardless of the port number, we can decrypt SSL and SSH sessions.

Since FASP uses SSH for encryption, then technically it should be possible to decrypt it.

Please refer to our Technical Documentation for how SSH Proxy is configured:

We have tried SSH proxy , but connection break and were not able to send the file.

Also my question was for non-443 traffic , FASP uses 30001 port to transfer the files in secure mode. Can we decrypt application working on 30001 port ?

The port doesn't necessarily have to be 443 or 22 for us to decrypt the traffic.

Since the application runs over SSH, we should be able to decrypt it using SSH Proxy.

If the decryption is breaking the application, you can open a ticket with Support for troubleshooting at the link below:

I hope that helps.
